About: Starwood Energy Group Global LLC has agreed to back OGCI Climate Investments to develop what could be the world's first natural gas power plant to capture CO2 at scale with the goal of capturing 90% of CO2 emissions. The captured CO2 is planned to be used for Enhanced oil Recovery and will seek to use Section 45Q tax credits. The plant is planned to commence construction in February 2021.
